Michael Keilmeier writes: And then, in the spring of 1976, Beoddy began work on his first masterpiece, "Arenas." The work contains some beautiful drawing and painting, including several photo-realistic portraits of his mother. This mammoth 8 feet wide by 4 feet high work is based around a post-graduate intermedia project created at the Ohio State University. It also captured the flavor of Beoddy's life and times, paying homage to major sources of inspiration and capturing his world view.
A stunning work that must be seen to appreciate its massiveness.
