Michael Keilmeier explains: "I Know More Than I Can Say" (1976) was related to the paintings in Beoddy’s "Basketcase Chronicles”, but not part of this series. The artist began to use more realism in his work and move away from the comic book style of his early paintings. Symbols and images that would be used in his more well-known paintings, such as "Arenas", start to appear.
